Cristalplant®, a material praised for its natural stone-like appearance and velvety feel, is composed primarily of highly pure aluminium trihydrate mineral fillers bound together by Biobased® plant-derived (corn/maize) resins. It is hard-wearing, has photocatalytic properties that make it antibacterial, can be easily restored in the event of scratches, dents or yellowing, and is recyclable at the end of its life.

For proper care and maintenance of your Cristalplant/Cristalplant Color washbasin by Ideagroup, use soapy water, common detergents, gel or abrasive cleaners, and a Scotch-Brite scouring pad. Rinse thoroughly after using a cleaning product. Do not use solvents such as acetone or trichloroethylene, or other harsh chemical products such as muriatic acid, caustic soda, drain cleaners, and solvents used in paints.

To prevent surface corrosion, use only neutral, transparent, non-acetic silicone sealants during installation.
