Ceramic washbasins are made from a blend of natural raw materials, such as clay and kaolin, and finely ground quartz and feldspar. Ceramic is a highly resistant, durable material also known for its exceptional colourfastness even after prolonged exposure to light.

For proper care and maintenance of your ceramic washbasin, use a cotton cloth or soft sponge and soapy water or common non-abrasive cleaners – such as Chanteclair multi-purpose degreaser – taking care to rinse well. Do not use abrasive detergents, scouring pads, acetone, trichloroethylene and strong acids or bases. Do not cut any objects directly on the ceramic surface. Prolonged contact with heat sources, like burning cigarettes and red-hot objects, and excessive exposure to substances like ink, make-up and hair dyes may stain the surface.

Only neutral, transparent, non-acetic silicones should be used for proper installation, to prevent surface corrosion.
